World’s dirtiest oil

The tar sands in Canada produce the dirtiest oil in the world and their production has resulted in various problems like contaminating huge quantities of water, forest lands are being destructed and also enormous energy requirement to release oil, the emission of green house gas. Rare cancers have also been reported in that region.
